The Birdsong Harp Center is located just 8 miles of  I40 between
Nashville and Memphis.   We are one mile from scenic Birdsong
Lake and resort, close to the Tennessee river.  Danny and Sheila
have built a log home and music center on 66 acres.  It is a peaceful
retreat full of wildlife, fresh air and beautiful scenery.  Danny is a
Master craftsman specializing in Irish harps, mountain dulcimers,
psalteries and Tennessee music boxes.  Check out the Instrument

Sheila has been teaching over 25yrs.  She specializes in harp, Celtic
and Concert.  She plays concert harp for First Baptist Church
orchestra in Jackson, TN regularly, as well as weddings, receptions,
church events, and other special occasions.  She has taught and
played Celtic harp at many folk festivals and concerts across the
southeastern United States and in Ireland.  She also travels to
Jackson, TN to teach each week.

Sheila is founder and director of the ensemble “Anointed Strings”.  
This group is a unique combination of harps, psalteries, dulcimers,
flute and whistle.  Anointed Strings travel to entertain at churches,
folk festivals, assisted living facilities, senior groups and other civic

The Birdsong Harp Center is closely affiliated with the
Irish Harp
College in Castleconnell, county Limerick in Ireland.  Students may
study to receive a degree in Irish Harp from the Irish Harp
College.  Also, students may study for testing with the Associated
Board Of The Royal School Of Music in London.
